1. About DataMarg

DataMarg — Migration Manager is a data migration management application published by Mareechi LLP and available through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. It is deployed as a managed application that is installed and runs entirely within the customer's own Microsoft Azure tenant.

2. Data Residency and Control

DataMarg operates on a zero-data-collection architecture. When you install DataMarg from the Azure Marketplace, all application resources — including the Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and SharePoint Embedded containers — are provisioned within your Azure subscription and tenant. No data is transmitted to, collected by, or accessible to Mareechi LLP or any third party through DataMarg.

Specifically: all files managed by DataMarg are stored in SharePoint Embedded containers within your Microsoft 365 tenant; all structured data resides in the Azure SQL Database within your Azure subscription; all application processing occurs on the Azure App Service running in your tenant; and no telemetry, analytics, usage data, or personal information is sent outside your tenant by DataMarg.

3. Authentication and Identity

DataMarg uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for authentication. User sign-in is handled entirely by Microsoft's identity platform within your tenant. Mareechi LLP does not receive, process, or store any user credentials, tokens, or identity information. Any permissions granted to the application are managed through your organisation's Entra ID admin consent process and can be reviewed or revoked at any time by your tenant administrator.

4. Personal Information We Collect

Mareechi LLP does not collect any personal information through DataMarg. Since the application runs entirely within your Azure environment, we have no mechanism to access user data, usage patterns, file contents, database records, or any other information processed by the application.

5. Cookies and Tracking

DataMarg does not use any cookies, tracking pixels, analytics services, or similar technologies that transmit data to Mareechi LLP or any third party. Any cookies used by the application are limited to those required by Microsoft Entra ID for authentication session management, and these are governed by Microsoft's own privacy policies.

6. Third-Party Services

DataMarg relies on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platform services (Azure App Service, Azure SQL, SharePoint Embedded, Microsoft Entra ID) that operate under Microsoft's privacy policies and terms of service. Your use of these underlying Microsoft services is governed by your organisation's agreement with Microsoft. Mareechi LLP does not integrate any other third-party data processors or analytics providers into DataMarg.

7. Data Security

Because DataMarg runs within your Azure tenant, data security is managed by your organisation using Azure's built-in security controls, including network security groups, role-based access control (RBAC), encryption at rest and in transit, and Microsoft Entra ID conditional access policies. Mareechi LLP does not have administrative access to your deployment.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All data created or managed by DataMarg resides in your Azure subscription. You have full control over data retention and deletion. If you uninstall DataMarg or delete the managed application resource group, all associated data is handled according to your Azure subscription's resource lifecycle policies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
